Affiliate program: one code, every product, paid in USD

The Qingwave affiliate program is how we share what the matrix earns with the people who help it grow. One code per account. Works for every Qingwave product. Pays out in USD, in real time, into a wallet that's independent from your spending balance.

This post explains the mechanics: how binding works, how commission is calculated, how tiers move, and how to withdraw.

One code, every product

You get one promo code per account. By default it's an auto-generated string (you can customize it to something memorable in the Affiliate console — must be 4–20 letters or digits).

Your share link looks like qingwave.com/register?ref=YOUR_CODE. Anyone who clicks that link and signs up gets bound to you. Once bound, every paid action they take across any Qingwave product counts as your conversion:

• They buy a Studio plan? You earn commission on it.
• They top up the API gateway? Same.
• They pay for a future product we haven't launched yet? Same.

One code, one binding, all the products. You don't have to track separate referral links per product.

How binding works

Three ways someone gets bound to your code:

1. Sign-up via link — they hit your share URL, then register. Auto-bound.
2. Sign-up with manual code — they type your code into the optional "Referral code" field on the registration form. Auto-bound.
3. Existing user binds later — already has an account, opens Bind referrer in their Affiliate console, types your code. Bound to you from that moment forward.

Once bound, the relationship is permanent for them — they can't switch to another referrer later. (You can change your own code without breaking already-bound bindings; the new code only affects future sign-ups.)

Commission math

For every paid action a bound referral takes, commission is calculated as:

commission_usd = paid_amount_usd × your_tier_rate

The rate depends on your current tier. The tiers are public:

• Bronze — 5% — default tier, available to everyone.
• Silver — 7% — unlocks at sustained 30-day volume.
• Gold — 10% — top partners; comes with extra placement and dedicated support.

Tier evaluation is on a 30-day rolling window of your commission earnings, not lifetime totals. Miss a month, you can climb again next month. The current threshold is shown live on your Affiliate console's progress bar — we adjust thresholds as the program scales, so the bar is the source of truth.

Real-time, no review window

Commission lands in your commission wallet the moment the underlying payment clears. There's no manual review queue for normal conversions. If a referral pays for a Studio plan at 14:32, your commission balance updates at 14:32.

The commission wallet is independent USD. It's not mixed with your master wallet, and it's not debited when you use Qingwave products. If you've earned $200 in commission, that $200 stays as commission until you withdraw it — buying a Studio plan doesn't quietly consume it.

Refund handling

Refunds reverse the commission. If a referral pays for a plan and then gets a refund within the cooling-off window, the corresponding commission is voided — you'll see a void entry in your ledger with a negative number against the original credit.

We chose this over the alternative (lock commission for 30 days before crediting). Real-time crediting + retroactive voids matches normal e-commerce affiliate behavior and means your wallet shows what you actually have.

Withdrawal

Two payout channels:

• Alipay — settled to RMB at the day's exchange rate. Requires Alipay account + real-name fields.
• Qingwave master wallet — credits directly to your spending balance at 1:1 USD.

Minimum withdrawal is $10. Reviews typically clear in 1–3 business days. Personal-income tax on commission income is the recipient's responsibility — we provide payout records but don't withhold.

Who's it for

Four kinds of partners we see most:

• AI creators — tutorials, reviews, videos. Drop the link in your description, conversions become commission.
• Tool / nav / community sites — list Qingwave products, get paid per conversion.
• Agencies — when you set up AI workflows for clients, bundle in a Qingwave account under your code. Internal usage and future top-ups all credit you.
• Team owners — sub-accounts inside your team auto-bind to your code on creation. Your team's internal Qingwave usage earns at your tier rate.
